Angelina On Top

Finally! She needed a hit. Badly.

Angelina Jolie’s new movie, the animated Beowulf, was the #1 film in the U.S. this past weekend.

The pic took in a very healthy $28 mill.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise’s latest film, Lions for Lambs, is officially a disaster.

The flick plummeted all the way to #8, taking in an anaemic $2.9 million.
