Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher will test again for Ferrari at Jerez in southern Spain in December.

The 38-year-old German, who retired at the end of 2006, tested for two days at Barcelona earlier this month.

A Ferrari spokesman said: "We haven't arranged the programme yet but he will do a couple of days."

Schumacher was fastest on both days at the Circuit de Catalunya as he lent Ferrari his experience on cars without electronic driver aids.

The systems, such as traction control, will be banned next season.

Schumacher's first testing sessions following his retirement were described at the time as "half for pleasure, half for technical reasons".

He has ruled out a return to racing, describing the decision as "irrevocable".

He is testing in his capacity as Ferrari technical adviser - many of the current drivers have not driven F1 cars without traction control.
